In fact you need 2 hammers and not a hammer and a piece of wood.
You also need some load on the balljoint by jacking up the chassis then you hit it with a normal hammer ( 1kg ) and you need another normal hammer holding against the other side of the balljoint otherwise it's "ballekes, nada niks"
